One of my favorite viral campaigns for the Prometheus movie is Peter Weyland’s 2023 TED Talk, where the legendary founder talks about fire, technology, evolution, and how humanity has replaced the gods. I have edited the speech, and brought it together with a chillstep / trip-hop fusion, heavily emphasizing moments in the speech with cinematic elements. For those who missed the original viral video, it’s [Here on YouTube]. For anyone on reddit, upvote the hell out of this [Here on reddit].

“Fire was a gift from the titan Prometheus, a gift that he stole from the gods! And Prometheus was caught and brought to justice for his theft. The gods… well, you might say they overreacted. The poor man was tied to a rock, as an eagle ripped thru his belly and ate his liver, over and over, day after day. All because he gave us fire, our first true piece of technology. Fire.” ~Peter Weyland

Jaya Prime // Witching Wall (ZitanB Remix)

Nice!! I saw Zitan’s remix of my song “The Witching Wall” and had to smile. It’s easily my most remixed song to-date!! This remix and other remixes from “IO Pulse” can be downloaded for free [Here on BandCamp]. Zitan completely blew away his remix, and I am excited for the EP he is working on at the moment. #CanNotWait

“When one becomes like a revengeful ghost and shows great determination, though his head is cut off, he should not die. […] Our bodies are given life from the midst of nothingness. […] Emptiness is form. […] Form is emptiness. […] One should not think that these are two separate things.” ~Forest Whitaker, quoting the “Hagakure”, from the movie “Ghost Dog” (1999)

One of the more obscure yet violent songs from my new EP, blending tribal percussion with post-step beats, and fusing together classical Western and Eastern forms of instrumentation. No greater blessing than an angel’s grace, and no greater wrath than an angel’s vengeance! May the fates have mercy on those who hunt the winged fury.

…ne m’oublies pas, ne m’oubliez pas… /// “Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them.” ~George Eliot /// “Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.” ~Mother Teresa /// Notes: The closing song for my new EP—a robotic dirge to carry the body of a mechanical angel to where she rests along the corrupted shores; there forgotten, never erased.
